“Mining, is like a search-and-destroy mission.”: PI Has Finally arrived
by Oz on Jun.08, 2010, under Eve Online
PI (Planetary Interaction) was introduced in the latest expansion, and CCP have finally seeded the control structures to get it started. I bought some, and started building my wonderful little mining colonies almost straight after the server came up.
Economically, they’re probably not all that viable, but I’m doing this for my own pleasure rather than my normal interests of making a shedload of isk.
I’ll be honest and say I haven’t looked at all the guides (altho DV has put together a great video tutorial for Eve-Uni), I was more interested in trying to figure it all out on my own. It’s the first time in a while I’ve been able to do that in Eve, so whether this is a waste or time or not, it has achieved my simple goal of doing something ‘new’ in the game for the first time in, well, a very long time.

I’ll chalk this one up as a CSM win.
